November 2022
As the cold weather settles in, November can be a chilly and grey experience, but for me, it was a period of reflection and personal redefinition!
Pitchfork Music Festival was a blast! In its inaugural year, tapped into the city’s electronic and progressive music culture with great success. We went on the first day of the three, at Haus Zenner, a very interesting venue inside Treptower Park. The lineup included Club Intl, Mothermary, and the headliners, Desire. Three artistic duos produce disco, electronic, and synth-based music. It was a night full of dance and eroticism!
A very much expected gig was Monolink's sold-out live performance in Velodrom. The German artist seamlessly melds guitar riffs and other analog instruments with the latest electronic production tools, creating layered soundscapes that are both calming and captivating. The use of lights combined with the mixture of acoustic elements, electronic rhythms, and enchanting vocals, offers a truly unforgettable audiovisual experience. It can seduce you, even if you are sober!
Remember remember the fifth of November! My birthday will be etched in my mind for the realization of many important things that I was consciously ignoring again and again. I am grateful for the experiences I have had, the people I have met, and the lessons I have learned. You have to always keep the question alive!
