May was such a busy but also such an important month. It was full of activities, great news, the beginning of a new project, and of course great food! Probably, as the weather started to warm up and the flowers began to bloom bringing out their wonderful fragrances, something similar happened to us following the dictates of nature.

Once again AL. Berlin team successfully organized a great event. Together with Festsaal Kreuzberg, one of my favourite venues, joined forces to introduce a promising lineup of West Asian & North African (WANA) Dance, HipHop, and Contemporary Pop Music. One Long Night, including multiple album releases, shows played for the first time in Berlin and celebrating the city's diverse cultures with music, food, and dancing. Well done!

Kiezsalon is a project by Digital that since 2015 has offered a forum for innovative musical activity beyond genre boundaries. Following 8 years, the Kiezsalon has established itself as one of the most popular and successful series in Berlin. The high artistic level and charming atmosphere of the Kiezsalon bring together heterogeneous scenes and subcultures. We were excited to attend the premiere at Zionskirche, a historic church, next to our place, which is celebrating its 150th anniversary. It was built on a 52-meter-high vineyard and is one of the highest points in Berlin, with great bars, wine shops, and restaurants in the surrounding area. A must-visit cultural hub in Berlin. French composer Delphine Dora presented her intimate compositions on the Zionskirche organ. Her music displays improvisation between modern classical and avant-folk sounds. Time Wharp uses efficient drum patterns, saxophone themes, and synth loops offering a fascinating acoustic effect.

Having some great news and starting a new project after a “dry” period, was the seal of a successful month! Stay tuned..

It's been exactly a decade since one of the most important and influential people in my life passed away, but his memory remains etched in my heart as if it were just yesterday. With each passing day, I strive to keep his memory alive, remembering that even in his absence, his love and influence continue to shape my life. Ten years may have elapsed, but Milto’s impact remains eternal!
